Me In A Tree~ Reviewed
Recently I found a really cool website that the whole family can use! Me In a Tree is a interactive site out of Canada and it is gaining huge fans here in the USA. From their press release is the following:
“CALGARY - FEBRUARY, 2012 - In today’s increasingly digital world, the family dynamic is suffering due to a lack of communication and connection. Seeing his problem, three Canadian parents decided to leverage their professional and personal backgrounds to create a tool to help families improve their relationships.”
It is not meant to help the parents be parents it is meant to get the family talking and sharing while using technology. It is easy to sign up and has a 2 week free trial to help you decide. I love how the site is so colorful and easy to use. I was able to make avatars for each member (or use an uploaded picture) and somewhat customize how each looks. I was also able to schedule family pictures, a family meeting and bubs birthday party that I can either share or print out making life easier by knowing who is doing what when. The entire family likes that they can access our family calendar from anywhere and we can share it with grandparents too. The family meeting was a success and I can not wait for the next one!
For a family meeting all you have to do is schedule a mere 30 minutes where the family sits down and talks about upcoming events, what is challenging them as well as share triumphs they have had recently. For this combined family it can be really hard to keep up with everyone. Under My Duties it allows parents to schedule chores and other thing to be done and by who, I know this will come in handy for my family. There is a parenting resource area as well as their blog where the parents can get advice from other parents. I love General Trinket who challenges the family to have the family meetings and receive small prizes on the site, fun for the whole family. Since each member of the family can only access their area there is a journal to write ones thoughts and feelings. What I love best is that you can make a “family stone” a type of crest/motto to live by while being creative.
So who are the geniuses behind Me In a Tree? You can thank David and Terry Royer, Michelle Cochrane and Eva Macyszyn for publishing a great site for families, I am sure it will be big here as it is in Canada!

Gotta Get a Clipa
I know, I know you are wondering WHAT it is and WHY you may need one, am I right? Well the Clipa is the answer to the age old problem of having to sit your purse/bag on the floor in restaurants/pubic bathrooms and can even be worn as a piece of jewelry, how cool is that?
I received 2 of these genius goodies and have put them to the ultimate test several times now. I have been known to carry a medium to large purse or have my camera bag with me all the time. I hate having to sit my bag(s) on the floor anywhere public and especially in public bathrooms, the germs in each are in the millions and then if you sit your purse/bag on both types of floors you have double the chance of getting sick, yuck!
The Clipa has withstood my testing with flying colors. My camera bag alone can weigh over 25 pounds and the Clipa had no problem keeping it safe and germ free off the floors at many places I have been. I have worn it as a bracelet several times and my friends loved the idea that it is so versatile and comes in a variety of choices to choose from.
The Clipa that I have are the Chloe but there is a Clipa that you can design with Swarovski crystals and finish. For less than $20.00 for the typical Clipa and less than $40 for an embellished one what would you use your Clipa for?

Making Your Stamp on the World
Thought that would get your attention! I love stamping so when it comes down to a stamp for my products (or for my notary) I have created many and still tweaking a few that will incoproate all 3 sites! As a SheHeard Blogger I have yet another site to get inspiration from.
So what is important in a stamp for your blog or business? That can be addressed in a few ways. I believe that for either a picture that represents what your blog/business is about is a must. Then figuring out what information you will have on your stamp. Will you use your name or the blog/business name? An email is a must so that people can reach you!
Fonts that can be used are numerous. The main point is that is has to be legible! I have actually used one of my stamp creations as a button for another blog of mine. Doing this allows me to be consistent over the internet so when Ms. Jones (just a name) sees my stamp/button she knows that it is me and what I am about.
Looking for ideas on stamps for your blog or business? You can find many at X Stampers Online. They can even do custom from your logo or one that you can make on their site. Their prices are comparable or better than other places I have used for my notary which leads me to know where to go when it is time to renew my notary stamp!
I will be working on my stamps for the blogs/business for a while yet and I know what ever I come up with that X Stampers Online is up to the challenge.
